Arlington Band Boosters is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to enliven and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the band programs of the Arlington Central School District. We provide support (moral, financial, social and otherwise) for the band programs and band students at the Arlington High School.
The Arlington High School Music program is a nationally recognized music program that has enjoyed many successes since its beginnings over 50 years years ago.
The Arlington Music program has been named one of the Top 100 Communities for Music Education in the USA. The band programs have garnered many accolades and honors at the local, regional, state and national levels. Every school year several hundred Arlington students participate in one or more of the many programs offered by the Arlington High School Music Department. The program offers multiple levels of bands, choirs, and orchestras as well as instruction in music theory and piano.
Arlington Band Boosters provides a wide range of support to these programs including scholarships, staffing concerts and music festivals, equipment and instrument purchases, and helping to raise funds that support the band programs. Arlington Band Boosters has donated more than $42,000 per year for the past two years in support of the Arlington Band Program. Through fundraising endeavors and volunteer efforts the organization has provided support for:
The Arlington Marching Band Invitational is the Booster's largest annual activity, held each October and attracts thousand spectators for an afternoon of high school marching band competition. The Arlington Invitational has been used as the model for many other school districts based on it's perennial success!

Welcome from ABBI President
Welcome to all new members and welcome back to all those returning for another amazing year of AHS Band! I have been elected to lead this incredible group of volunteers and point ABBI into the future. Many of you already know me, but for those that don't I would like to give you a little of my background.
I have one student in the band program and he currently performs with band, marching band and jazz band. I have another child who graduates this year but did not take band in AHS. I have lived in Dutchess County almost my entire life and in ACSD for the past 20 years. I work as a Fire Lieutenant in the Arlington Fire District and have experience as a small business owner in the community.
I have coached football and lacrosse and served on the board of volunteer organizations as Treasurer, Financial Chair, Operations Director and Advisory Board member.
I wish to make your ABBI experience the best it can be so that we can elevate the students in the band program to be the best possible. Everything we do translates to better opportunities for the students, whether it's fundraising or volunteering to run events.
Please reach out to me with any questions or issues and I will do my best to find an answer. ABBI Board meetings are the second Thursday of every month unless after-school activities are cancelled. All are welcome who have business for the board.
Thank you in advance for your support and dedication to our children.
